The Story

Late last year Brandon set out to produce music that told the story of each and every person that had a positive impact on his life. Naturally, the first influence was to be his older brother. “My Hero” is an anthem to the brother’s deep bond formed from birth. Michael (Brandon’s older brother) has been his biggest fan, mentor, and influence.

It is the protection of those who have gone before us that have allowed us underneath to shine in our fullest glory. It is from the protection of our parents, our mentors and siblings, our guides that births our freedom. In a world where ego and radical independence be the forefront of society and culture, Brandon reminds the listener to reflect on honoring those that have gone before.

“Bleeding heart still beating,
Warrior still leading,
Strongest peace, voice of reason,
Building up trust like an eternal being…”
